Anesthesiology Specialist

UTMB Health seeks a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide high-quality patient care services in the Department of Anesthesiology. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree from a COA-accredited nurse anesthesia educational program and a valid Texas RN and CRNA license.

• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, including assessing patient medical history and obtaining informed consents for anesthesia.
• Administer anesthetic-related drugs and controlled substances, and select/insert invasive and noninvasive monitoring modalities.
• Perform point-of-care testing, plan and initiate anesthetic techniques, and respond to emergency situations using airway management and other techniques.
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia, and maintain detailed anesthetic records in the EMR system.

• Valid Texas RN and CRNA licenses
• Master's degree from a COA-accredited nurse anesthesia educational program
