Job Summary:

The Certified Mobile Research Nurse is a per diem/PRN position for PCM Trials. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants. You will work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit pediatric patients aged 4 years and above to collect blood samples, perform physical assessments, and review concomitant medications/adverse events.
  • Assist caregivers with equipment setup and IP administration.
  • Collect accurate, detailed patient records, including documentation of medical history and medication charting.
  • Utilize excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful visits.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred).
  • One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests.
  • Current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice.
  • Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records.
  • Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current TB Test.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed driver with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair.
  • Ability to speak other languages.
