Role Overview:

Demandbase is on the lookout for an innovative, driven, and passionate Senior Engineering Manager to join our ABX team. In this dynamic agile environment, you will spearhead key initiatives that are crucial to our business. This role offers the chance to collaborate with a talented, energetic, and creative team focused on developing top-tier products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide teams in executing essential integration initiatives while advancing technology and product roadmaps.
  • Provide in-depth technical leadership, overseeing technical decision-making, establishing requirements, and coordinating technical interfaces with stakeholders.
  • Drive project execution, collaborating cross-functionally with technology development and business teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Work closely with product managers to define and enhance future products.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a geographically diverse team.
  • Manage individual goals, performance, and employee development effectively.
  • Ensure the establishment of the right culture, processes, and technological investments for upcoming product launches.
  • Enhance and streamline an agile/rapid development process.
  • Facilitate knowledge management to maximize the transfer of expertise to new team members and projects.
  • Provide regular updates, including KPI results, project progress, and relevant cost metrics to engineering and functional leaders.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in engineering management and agile development.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in developing large-scale enterprise solutions as a technical leader.
  • Hands-on leadership experience with a focus on software architecture and design.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes with a proven track record of translating strategy into execution.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the complexities involved in large-scale distributed systems and multi-cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire teams, recruit, mentor, and cultivate technical talent while fostering a robust engineering culture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to collaborate with both offshore and onshore teams to achieve objectives.
  • Proficient in working with engineering teams to continuously enhance development and delivery processes.
  • Customer-focused with a strong bias for action, high energy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in AdTech, MarTech, SalesTech, or Digital Marketing is advantageous.
