The Department of Economics at the University of Michigan invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Any Field in Economics. This appointment will be at the level of assistant professor and will begin August 25, 2025.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and research in Economics
- Advising students and providing service to the department and university
Ph.D. in Economics or a related field is required by the start date of the position. Applicants must submit a current curriculum vitae, a job market paper, three reference letters, a statement of teaching philosophy and experience, a statement of current and future research plans, evidence of teaching excellence, and a diversity statement.
Requirements- Ph.D. in Economics or a related field
- Teaching and research experience in Economics
- Ability to advise students and provide service to the department and university
