We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Assess patient needs and develop plans to meet those needs, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of six months of experience as a Clinical Nurse I, or equivalent experience in a comparable role in a minimum 100-bed hospital or specialty area.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, may be required per facility or unit/department specialty.
- Other certifications may be required per unit/department specialty, such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification, for Emergency Department positions.
- Public Health Nurse certification in the State of California, for certain positions.
- TEAM Training certification, for all positions at John George Psychiatric Pavilion and certain positions in the Emergency Department.
This is a full-time, benefited position working nights, with an FTE of 1.0. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and contribute to the success of Alameda Health System.
