Competitive Pay: $16.00 per hour (Note: sleep pay is $10.85 per hour)

We are seeking compassionate and patient individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a caregiver, you will be proud of rewarding work helping people grow, learn and live well.

About the Role:

  • You will expand your knowledge of psychology by supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness and behavioral challenges.
  • You will develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
  • You will experience ownership and trust from your leaders to do what's right for participants.
  • You will take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
  • You will support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise and nutrition.

What You'll Bring to Sevita:

  • Education: No High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: No experience required.
  • Skills: Communicate, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
  • Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts.
