Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior High Tech Project Manager to lead our high-tech special projects, including facility renovations, remodels, and tool installations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple high-tech projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution and successful project delivery.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-tech building, specifically MEP scope, construction project management.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques.
  • Proficient with MS Project.
  • Proficient with Procore and/or CMIC.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage multiple high-tech special projects, including facility renovations, remodels, and tool installations.
  • Oversee and manage contract staff (1099s & consultants).
  • Review and understand conceptual/schematic scope narratives, specifications, and drawings to provide effective constructability input to influence the design.
  • Evaluate timely and effective project closeout, adhering to GCON standards for closeout processes.
  • Maintain full engagement with trade partners, Architect/Engineer (A/E) teams, and clients through actions of accountability and collaboration, establishing project vision and sharing lessons learned.
  • Demonstrate advanced financial capabilities; able to budget, forecast, monitor, course correct, and advise on financial performance.
  • Implement Last Planner System (LPS) and continuous improvement activities between staff and trade partner workforces.
  • Catch and mentor project team(s) on implementing a comprehensive Quality Control (QC) Plan.
  • Identify exposures and negotiate cost overruns with clients to mitigate margin fade and maximize company profitability.
  • Develop action plans to identify and mitigate risks while implementing earning enhancement opportunities.
  • Evaluate leading and lagging safety indicators and implement corrective actions.
