Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year (depending on experience)

Job Description:

• Collaborate with Healthcare Team Members: Work effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Perform Radiologic Studies: Conduct basic radiologic studies using C-arm and portable equipment within the department, ED, or in surgery suites.
• Maintain Radiation Safety Standards: Operate within A.L.A.R.A radiation standards of care, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
• Process Patient Data: Obtain required billing data and account registration, ensuring that ordered procedures are appropriate for diagnoses.
• Evaluate Medical Imaging Quality: Assess quality, satisfaction, and regulatory standards to ensure compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Requires an Associate's degree in Radiology or Radiologic Sciences or completion of a technical or vocational certificate.
• Experience: Entry-level position requiring up to two years of work-related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Licensure and Certifications: Current valid license, and/or registration or certifications as an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Maintain current certification in Basic Life Support.
