Checkout Associate

Job Summary:

As a Cashier at Shop 'n Save, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers. Your primary duties will include:

• Operating a cash register: Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and coupons.
• Managing inventory: Count and enter cash into the register system, handle EBT and WIC transactions, and ensure proper handling of all forms of tender.
• Providing customer service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a positive and friendly attitude.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace: Keep the sales floor and checkout area clean and organized, and report any maintenance or repair issues to management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent: Required.
• Previous retail experience: Preferred.
• Excellent communication skills: Required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Required.
