Job Overview

The HVAC Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling, execution, and documentation of Preventive Maintenance tasks. This includes essential activities such as filter replacements, condenser cleanings, and pressure charge assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems effectively.
  • Address and resolve plumbing-related issues.
  • Gather three competitive bids from contractors for outsourced projects.
  • Manage the replacement of coils, condensing units, complete split systems, and mini-split systems as necessary.
  • Prepare detailed time and cost reports for upcoming projects.
  • Conduct inspections of HVAC units in new constructions to ensure proper installation and optimal efficiency.
  • Maintain logs for warranty information regarding newly installed and existing HVAC systems.
  • Assist newly hired technicians in obtaining CFC certifications.
  • Facilitate training sessions for maintenance technicians to enhance their understanding of HVAC operations, troubleshooting techniques, and component replacement.
  • Oversee the execution of commercial maintenance service agreements from initiation to completion.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of full-time experience in HVAC, including repair and installation in multi-family housing, commercial properties, and single-family residences.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Universal CFC certification.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Personal tools necessary for the job.
