Position Overview:
The MRI Imaging Specialist, under the guidance of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director, is tasked with operating a magnetic resonance imaging scanner to generate images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Key duties encompass:
  • Selecting suitable imaging methodologies
  • Managing patient information
  • Transferring and archiving images

Qualifications:
  • Essential Education: Completion of an accredited Radiological Technology Program
  • Desirable Education: Further education beyond high school
  • Certifications: ARRT in Radiography, ARRT (MR) Registry within 18 months of employment, BLS Basic Life Support within 3 months of employment, Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License
  • Preferred Licensure: ARRT (MRI)
  • Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in utilizing office equipment and computer systems.
