Job Description

At Entegris, we are seeking a highly motivated student to join our membrane development group as a Chemical Engineer Co-Op. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Experimentation and Analysis: Characterize polymeric filtration devices using imaging software and water flow methods.
  • Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical software such as Minitab to find trends and optimize polymer receipt formulations.
  • Membrane Development: Help with casting membranes on pilot scale.
  • Communication: Present scientific findings in team meetings.
Requirements:
  • Authorization: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Experimental Skills: Strong desire to conduct experiments and perform hands-on experimental procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Chemical Handling: Some experience with handling chemicals in a laboratory environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Experience in solving problems in an R&D environment.
  • Time Management: Have a sense of urgency and unwavering resolve to meet timelines.
