Position Overview: The Aerospace Welding Technician plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of aerospace components through the operation of various welding machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize resistance welding equipment to fabricate parts
  • Deburr components with handheld tools
  • Clean and wash parts to eliminate manufacturing oils, dirt, and debris
  • Ensure the ongoing production of components that align with customer specifications
  • Conduct inspections of finished parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, indicators, calipers, and comparators
  • Uphold quality standards by adhering to the Quality Management System
  • Monitor and document operational performance issues, providing constructive feedback to supervisors
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and other personnel
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required; post-secondary education in CNC preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to manage complex tasks
  • Able to thrive in a customer-oriented, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive demeanor
