As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Medical Telemetry unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to our patients. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, focusing on the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes or concerns to the RN or physician.
- Participate in patient and family education, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of compassion and respect.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work a part-time weekend shift schedule.
