We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation department at Northwest Medical Center - Springdale. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the RoleThis is a full-time Registered Nurse position working a day shift in our Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for evaluating assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. You will also assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform various patient tests, and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Perform a variety of tasks.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse. Prefer Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
