The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and be able to adapt treatment plans to meet the individual needs of residents. You will work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality care and services.

Job Description:

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation.

You will conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine the need for intervention/treatment. You will also evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation, and monitor resident's response to intervention and modify treatment as indicated.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, evaluate, plan, implement, and follow-up on resident therapy programs
  • Adapt treatment plans to meet the individual needs of residents
  • Assist with and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement Program as directed
  • Provide and direct Occupational Therapy services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation
