About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our Imaging department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct echocardiography procedures to obtain high-quality images and measurements
  • Review patient charts and histories to ensure accurate and efficient imaging protocols
  • Document patient information and imaging results in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Two to four year college degree in health-related imaging (ultrasound, radiology) preferred
  • One to three years of experience as a Registered Sonographer preferred
  • Superior customer service and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Work Environment

This is a per diem position working days, evenings, and nights as needed. You will be based at UMMC, with opportunities to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
