Ride Prototype Technician

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reporting to the department manager and collaborating with engineering and creative staff to determine proper fabrication methods. Key responsibilities include interacting with all levels of staff, from entry-level to executive, and occasional interaction with engineering and creative departments.

Key Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in an environment with constant project/design changes and ability to jump from one project to another prior to completion of assigned tasks
  • Highly dependable, strong work ethic, willingness to learn new things and continually improve skills
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to work directly with engineering and creative staff
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with minimal oversight
  • Interpretation and manipulation of SolidWorks and AutoCAD drawings
  • Hands-on experience with fabrication equipment, including press brake, shear, roll, and metal cutting saws
  • Basic welding tasks and ability to adjust machine parameters as required
  • Background of mechanical assembly and initiative-taking skills
  • Forklift, scissor lift training, and rigging experience a plus
  • Ability to collaborate within a diverse team
Required Education

High School or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education

Additional Information

Resource will be onsite 5 days per week. Must haves: 1) Know how to navigate 3D CAD systems and take dimensions; 2) Mechanical ability to support projects; 3) Nice to have Knowledge of Machines: Table saw, panel saw, chop saw
