Job Summary

CMTS is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Technician II to join our team in Portland, OR. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring all work is in conformance with contractual requirements and verifying all materials incorporated into the project conform to submittals, project specifications, and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with project owners, superintendents, and engineers to ensure project success.
  • Manage change order process with project owners and trade partners.
  • Prepare outgoing correspondence to clients, subcontractors, and other outside entities.
  • Support services include maintaining engineering drawing libraries, clerical support, material testing, and concrete compression strength testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management and/or Civil Engineering.
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering technician experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including MS Project.
  • Ability to learn new computer programs quickly.
