Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our Ambulatory Surgery team, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a RN, you will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver safe, age-appropriate care to patients undergoing surgical and procedural sedation procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including preoperative and postoperative care, in a rotational call schedule environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, providing support during emergencies or urgent situations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements
  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license.
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in ambulatory surgery or similar environments.
  • Knowledge of age-related differences in caring for and communicating with patients and caregivers.
  • Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics to geriatrics.
Physical Demands

The RN will be required to perform various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. The following physical demands are required:
