Healthcare Support Permanent Placement is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a permanent placement role.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive care to patients with breathing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy and be able to develop and implement treatment plans, supervise therapy students and new graduates, perform therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, and operate respiratory care equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with breathing disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Supervise and mentor respiratory therapy students and new graduates, providing guidance and support to ensure successful integration into the team.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist License in the State of Florida required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with a strong background in patient care and treatment planning.
