We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in all functions of the Optum mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily through the dispensing of medical prescriptions and performing essential clerical tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients and clinic staff
  • Process prescription orders and prepare them for verification under the direct supervision of the licensed pharmacist
  • Order, receive, and manage pharmacy supplies
  • Receive and handle wholesaler medication orders
  • Verify medication inventory and maintain accurate records in the computer system
  • Collaborate with the pharmacist to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations
  • Perform various clerical tasks related to the pharmacy department
  • Communicate effectively using strong verbal and written skills
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Minnesota
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Bilingual skills (preferably Hmong & Karen)
