Job Summary

TotalMed is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse-Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as codes and rapid response teams.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California.
  • Experience in labor and delivery nursing, preferably in a travel setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
