Position Overview:
The School of STEM Department of Natural Sciences at Vermont State University is seeking applications for a part-time teaching role. This position involves delivering a course in Physics I.

Course Details:
Lecture and Laboratory Instruction: 3 hours of lecture and 3 hours of laboratory instruction each week.

This course offers a comprehensive algebra-based exploration of fundamental physics principles.

Key topics encompass measurement systems; dynamics, which includes motion, acceleration, forces, work, energy, and power; momentum and conservation laws; statics, covering both concurrent and noncurrent forces; and fluid mechanics.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree or higher in Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.


Compensation:

Salary will be determined based on previously taught credits in accordance with the VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
