Job Summary

The Anne Carlsen Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Jamestown, ND. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, developing, and implementing pediatric speech language pathology therapy services for individual clients and outside contract services.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess clients' communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs
  • Provide direct therapeutic intervention to clients, including speech and language therapy, and swallowing therapy
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care to clients
  • Document clients' progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in the field
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and ASHA certificate of clinical competence or CFY, or eligibility or evidence of application for licensure
  • Ability to manage a caseload commensurate to their FTE status
  • Experience in pediatrics or work with the developmentally disabled population is desired, but not necessary
