About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington. As a RN in our Oncology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with cancer and blood disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Curent licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
  • National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least one year of experience as a RN in an acute-care setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National certification in oncology nursing.
