Transportation Coordinator

As a Transportation Coordinator with Taft City Elementary School District, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation, you will drive school buses on scheduled and special runs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive school buses on scheduled and special runs
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and bus routes
• Collaborate with the Lead Transportation person to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding student transportation

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid California driver's license
• A valid California school bus operator's certificate
• Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $54,000 - $64,000, depending on experience.
