**Job Summary**

MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in the Neuro IR department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with a variety of interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with a range of interventional radiology procedures, including drainages, CT scans, embolization, TIPPS, angioplasty, and stent placement.
  • Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed.
  • May come into contact with COVID-19 patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT.
  • Experience in interventional radiology and angiography.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
