Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and repairing industrial refrigeration equipment, including Chillers, CO2 Ventilation Systems, Boilers, valves, controls, etc.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere. Travel is required for this position, and the candidate must be able to pass a Fit Test and wear a full-face respirator.

ColdFlo Mechanical, Inc. is committed to providing exceptional service and support to our customers. We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years' experience working as an operator or service technician with industrial refrigeration systems. The successful candidate must hold EPA 608 universal certification and R-410A certification.

We also require a valid driver's license and a clean DMV record. All employees who drive company-owned vehicles must maintain a valid driver's license and provide a clear DMV record that is insurable with our company vehicle insurance carrier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial refrigeration equipment, including Chillers, CO2 Ventilation Systems, Boilers, valves, controls, etc.
  • Perform system calibrations and start-ups, including compressor alignment skills.
  • Safely handle ammonia refrigeration systems and Halo-carbon (Freon) Systems.
  • Travel to customer sites to perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and answer questions.
