Position Overview:
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist is responsible for executing and modifying MRI procedures to achieve precise diagnostic outcomes under the supervision of a radiologist.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an ARRT accredited MRI program.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: (MR)(ARRT) or ARMRIT certification upon hire or within one year of employment; BLS certification within one year of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI examinations with precision, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Assess images for clarity and diagnostic quality.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Demonstrate proficiency in specimen collection techniques.

- Support the training of fellow technologists and students in MRI techniques.
