Delaware North is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team at Kalaloch Lodge in Olympic National Park. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms, including emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash to disposal areas.
- Conduct regular walk-arounds to ensure facilities meet housekeeping standards, and maintain neat and organized linen rooms and work areas.
- Interact with guests and provide assistance as needed while cleaning guest and meeting rooms.
- Report maintenance repair problems to supervisors and ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily.
- Operate company vehicles across the property as needed.
- No prior experience required, but previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions.
- Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
- No high school diploma or GED required.
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces.
