We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative aircraft seats and components at RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing products that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Design aircraft seats and components using CATIA Version 4 and 5, including 3D modeling and drawing/drafting.
- Generate 2D drawings based on created 3D models, adhering to standard aerospace drafting practices and in-house standards.
- Collaborate with project engineers to discuss engineering issues, including design changes and customer requests.
- Support Purchasing and Production by providing necessary documentation for part sourcing.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering field.
- 0-32 years of experience or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
- Experience in aircraft interior design.
- Knowledge of aircraft documentation systems for after-sales and configuration control systems.
- Experience with CATIA V5.
