The successful candidate will provide instrumental support for our choral ensembles, demonstrating advanced musical skills and proficiency in multiple genres.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and play piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, violin/viola, percussion, horn or any musical instrument accompaniments
* Demonstrate proficient advanced sight-reading skills
* Practice as music may indicate to ensure secure performances
* Run sectionals and coach music students during section rehearsals

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in music and/or professional level ability to play
* Evidence of successful experiences working with school age music students
* Evidence of the ability to respect, protect, and maintain confidentiality
* Evidence of excellent human relations and oral communication skills

Knowledge and Skills:

* Has knowledge and background in the assigned activity
* Understanding of and agreement with the Minnetonka Public School District's Student Activity and Athletic Code
* Knowledge of State, Federal and Minnetonka Public School Board Policies regarding student conduct and appropriate disciplinary action
* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation:

* $32.50 per hour
