Echocardiography Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Tech to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures, with the ability to perform routine examinations and provide preliminary interpretations of studies.

• Perform routine echocardiography examinations, including trans-thoracic echocardiograms, trans-esophageal echocardiograms, stress and contrast echocardiograms.
• Provide preliminary interpretation of studies performed.
• Receive training and instruction in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Must have experience as required for registry in echocardiography by either the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in the performance of trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms.
• Experience in placing intravenous lines and administration of IV medications is desirable.
• Experience in EKG interpretation and cardiac and vascular stress testing is preferred.

• Graduate of an approved program of echocardiography non-invasive cardiovascular technology or equivalent education and training.
• Registered as a Cardiac Sonographer by either American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiac Credentialing International.
• BLS certification required.

Under certain conditions, may be exposed to blood and/or body fluids or potentially infective materials. Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
