We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment in Rome, New York.
As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality medical images and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate various types of medical imaging equipment, including fixed and mobile X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, and other related devices.
- Take precise measurements and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal image quality.
- Analyze images and identify potential issues or abnormalities, communicating findings to radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
This is a travel position, requiring flexibility and adaptability. You will work 40 hours per week, with shifts ranging from 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a valid NYSDOH License to practice radiology. Emergency radiology experience is highly preferred, and prior travel experience is a plus.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field.
- Current BLS certification and NYSDOH License to practice radiology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, with emergency radiology experience preferred.
