Job Summary:

Burlingame Long Term Care Center seeks a skilled and compassionate Activity Coordinator to join our team. As an Activity Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Activities Program under the direction of the Activities Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Activities Program by carrying out tasks relating to patient activities correctly and on schedule.
  • Participate in special resident events and outings, ensuring necessary supplies are on hand and returned appropriately.
  • Update and maintain resident activity records.
  • Participate in meetings and ensure creation of necessary communications and documentation, as required.
  • Attend required meetings and in-service training.
  • Assist with decorating the center to reflect current season or holiday.
  • Meet with consultants, as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong proven written and verbal English communication skills for business necessity.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Experience in long-term care setting or related health care field.

Consumer Service Expectations:

  • Present a professional image to consumers through dress, behavior, and speech.
  • Adhere to Company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
  • Ensure that all patient/resident rights are protected.
