Job Title: Director of Individual and Corporate Giving

SERV Behavioral Health System is seeking a seasoned fundraising professional to join our team as Director of Individual and Corporate Giving. This key role will be responsible for executing and managing cultivation and stewardship strategies to support fundraising campaigns, gift planning, and major gift procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic individual and corporate engagement strategies to secure donations and meet fundraising targets.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual and corporate partners to broaden SERV's donor portfolio throughout New Jersey.
  • Manage a portfolio of 125 individual and corporate prospects, completing 12-15 monthly personal visits and maintaining timely records of all contacts in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Vice President to set aggressive annual and monthly revenue goals, providing regular reporting on individual and corporate giving program performance.
  • Solicit corporate sponsorships for SERV's events and attend and assist with external and internal events as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to write and distribute targeted donor solicitation appeals.
  • Support and advise the CEO, SVP, and Board of Directors in their solicitation efforts.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Comprehensive proficiency in best practices in fundraising.
  • Strategic, creative, mature, diplomatic, and strong people skills.
  • Professional, poised, and comfortable speaking with the public.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Outgoing personality and willingness to take the initiative.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and pitches to potential donors.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and donor management software.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to respond flexibly and efficiently to frequent changes in task focus, competing priorities, and multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel frequently to events and meetings.
