Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician End of Line Inspector to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands. This role will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections of fabricated parts and in-process control inspections to ensure compliance with quality requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of fabricated parts and in-process control inspections to identify any defects or non-compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on all assigned activities and finished goods to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Prepare and submit clear, concise, and accurate reports of inspections, audits, test results, and job site visits.
  • Conduct tests using various tools and equipment to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing objectives, plans, and priorities to achieve quality control objectives in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with the Quality Manager on methods and problem-solving procedures to successfully meet deadlines.
  • Perform internal and external audits as required.
  • Maintain continuous improvement practices in the work area.
  • Complete and present basic Root Cause analysis.
  • Inspect all incoming raw materials per inspection plan.
  • Record and maintain receiving inspection results.
  • Complete first article quality reports.
  • In-process verification of calibration tools for all inspection test equipment and tools.
  • Maintain gauge calibration database and records.
  • Perform product test and records results during product manufacturing.
  • Ensure adherence to production practices and product quality standards.
  • Assist in the documentation of and resolution of nonconforming material and process discrepancy.
  • Evaluate product to determine if they are acceptable.
  • Perform start-up and changeover audits to verify that the product will meet specifications.
  • May be assigned additional projects or duties as designated by team leader.
