Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

The Computer Merchant, LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electro-mechanical systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, including mechanical and electrical components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and company standards
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including CAD drawings and technical specifications
  • Work with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production and assembly of designed products
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and engineering
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
  • AS or BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in GD&T, SolidWorks, and PDM Vault
  • Experience with high-temperature chemical vapor deposition (CVD) reactors or other chemical reactors a plus
  • Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) a plus
