Seeking Per Diem OB/GYN Hospitalist

Pediatrix Medical Group is a leading provider of specialized healthcare for women, babies, and children. We are seeking a Per Diem OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our practice in Elizabethtown, KY.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 24/7 in-house coverage for OB triage, admissions, inpatient care, and delivery for unassigned patients and private call coverage.
  • Collaborate with Neonatology, Nursing, and other specialties and departments to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Have responsibility for OB triage/admissions/inpatient care/delivery for unassigned patients and private call coverage, emergency response for L&D/antepartum/postpartum, ER, floor consults/care for unassigned GYN emergencies, and surgical assists at Cesarean sections.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified OB/GYN
  • KY licensed or IMLC compact eligible
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
Benefits:
  • Pediatrix covers travel expenses for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.
  • Pediatrix covers malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
