Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Inc.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients and developing personalized rehabilitation plans to help them achieve their goals and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop rehabilitation plans to improve mobility, strength, and function.
  • Implement and supervise occupational therapy programs, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in occupational therapy.
Requirements:
  • Masters of Occupational Therapy Degree from a school approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Valid New York State Occupational Therapy License.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
