Job Description:

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapist to join our team at KVC Health Systems. As a Therapist, you will be responsible for providing trauma-informed case management to children and adolescents in residential and/or acute programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, family, or group therapy sessions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams and complete comprehensive intake and assessment, initial and master treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Complete required documentation, including phone calls and visitations, forms, and reports per agency's policy and procedures.
  • Maintain current knowledge of youth history, plan of care, and discharge plan and be available for consultation on a 24/7 hour on-call basis.
  • May participate in Utilization Review functions and reporting to insurance companies and payors.
  • Maintain current employee profile in KVC's HRIS tool.
  • Maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all KVC policies.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary and use approved tools, techniques, and resources available.
  • Facilitates treatment review meetings with guardian, MCO, and community partners in person or by phone.
  • Creates and maintains secure, safe, pleasant, nurturing living and learning environments.
  • Maintains compliance with state, federal, and all licensure and accrediting bodies.
