Financial Analyst Job Description

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial data and providing insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aggressively and proactively analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with program management and contracts to ensure timely deliverables to customers.
  • Identify and escalate financial issues to management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in finance, including government contracting experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Active Secret US Government Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Five years of related experience in finance, including government contracting experience.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance.
