Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our Mother Baby Unit team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Nurse on our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in educational programs and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a maternal and newborn care setting.
