Position Summary

We are currently seeking qualified Armed Security Supervisors to oversee operations in the Little Haiti area.

As an Armed Security Supervisor, you will protect and serve clients across various sectors such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

The Armed Security Supervisor will act as a key link between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security personnel. You will supervise staff during your assigned shift, providing guidance, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.


Compensation:
$18.95/hour

Work Schedule:
Full Time: Friday to Monday (11 PM - 7 AM)

Essential Qualifications:
- Must possess an active driver's license
- Valid Florida Security Licenses (D and G)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory security role

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to operate a computer or tablet
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions for the duration of the shift
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

As a condition of employment, candidates will undergo a background investigation in compliance with all applicable laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with legal requirements. A drug screening may also be required as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may vary based on state and local regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment.


Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily security operations at assigned client sites
- Manage a team of security officers and supervisors, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and development
- Ensure high-quality security services are delivered to protect personnel and property
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees
- Provide exceptional customer service by implementing safety and security protocols, site-specific policies, and emergency response procedures when necessary
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises
- Work environments may vary based on client needs
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the public
- Prepare written reports and logs clearly and legibly
- Understand and follow all operational procedures and instructions
- Utilize technology effectively at client sites
- Handle both routine and crisis situations with composure and efficiency
