The Hotel Carmichael is seeking a skilled Housekeeping Houseman to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate cleaning schedules to ensure seamless operations.
  • Dust and clean high and low areas, including surfaces and fixtures.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, extract, wax, and buff various types of floors.
  • Remove and dispose of discarded materials, ensuring a clean and tidy environment.
  • Restock linen and storage closets daily, as well as cleaning supplies and guestroom essentials.
  • Assist Housekeeping Room Attendants with heavy lifting and trash removal.
  • Operate commercial equipment, including carpet extractors, floor buffers, and wet/dry vacuums.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance and use, adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety/sanitation requirements.
  • Responsible for assigned keys and lost and found articles.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Understand emergency procedures and follow company safety and sanitation policies.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and complete requests in a timely and professional manner.
Work Environment:

  • Chemicals and bio-hazards.
