At CHSGa Home Health, we're seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to a positive work environment by sharing information, using problem-solving methods, and accepting new ideas, criticism, or advice from others.
- Support activities introduced by skilled nursing facilities and Rehabilitation Services.
- Demonstrate superior customer service through courtesy, consistent follow-up, and positive communication.
- Utilize continuing education assistance to achieve targeted quality improvements.
- Provide adequate supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistants as defined in the Georgia Occupational Therapy board rules.
- Collaborate with the Rehabilitation Director and other disciplines to facilitate effective and efficient clinical case management.
- Maintain a state-of-the-art body of knowledge in areas of clinical expertise through seminars, professional journals, and peers.
- Effectively demonstrate safe working practices.
- Report for scheduled work periods on time.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary or directed by the immediate supervisor.
- At minimum, possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Possess a current, unencumbered, license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Georgia.
- Prefer two (2) years of experience in a skilled nursing facility rehabilitation environment or equivalent.
