Job Summary

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Order Filler to join our team. As an Order Filler, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations by providing a full range of material handling services to ensure fulfillment to customer and business expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately store, pick, package, and ship products with a focus on safety, quality, service, and waste reduction.
  • Operate a forklift or other powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Fulfill customer orders and deliver them to the correct staging area.
  • Ensure the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
  • Verify that the quantity, quality, packaging, labeling, and addressing of outbound orders meet customer specifications or other requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid forklift truck operator's license required.
  • Ability to read, count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly.
  • Strong emphasis on safety and responsible work habits.
  • Familiarity with warehouse systems and ability to handle stress caused by meeting deadlines with tight scheduling requirements.
  • Ability to shift priorities easily.
