Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide to join our team. As a member of our home care team, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide various personal care services to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Bathing, grooming, and skin care to prevent breakdown
  • Assisting patients with dressing and undressing, toileting activities, and mobility
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals, and assisting with feeding
  • Taking and recording vital signs, and reporting patient condition to the supervising RN
  • Assisting with active and passive range of motion exercises, and other simple procedures as ordered
  • Meeting safety needs of patients, including proper use of equipment and maintaining compliance with Maxim's Falls Prevention program, Infection Control program, and patient-specific Emergency Management plan
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant/home health aide or competency training and evaluation program
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
  • Meets Maxim and applicable State Background Investigation requirements
  • Current CPR certification and First Aid training/certification
  • Participation in Tuberculosis screening/testing requirements
