Radiologic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Nebraska Pain Institute.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for x-ray procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results.
- Implement radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
- Operate x-ray equipment, adjusting settings as needed for high-quality images.
- Monitor patients and equipment during procedures, reporting any issues to physicians.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
Maintenance and Quality Assurance:
- Clean and disinfect x-ray rooms and equipment to maintain a sterile environment.
- Perform quality assurance tests on x-ray equipment and maintain records.
- Report equipment issues to physicians and notify the Office Supervisor for prompt resolution.
Requirements:
A degree from an accredited radiologic technologist program and current certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) are required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary.
